At the invitation of the President of Lithuania, Valdas Adamkus, who was impressed by the production seen in Warsaw, Lech Majewski, along with his regular team, recreated Bizet’s Carmen at the Lithuanian National Opera in Vilnius. Due to the smaller size of the Vilnius opera, the performance was transformed into a completely new staging.
